Data collected when you book

First name, last name, email address, phone number, date, time, number of guests and your notes (for example allergies).

What we use it for

• To handle your booking and contact you if needed.
• To send you: a confirmation email with a cancellation link, a reminder before your visit (for groups: 7 days and 2 days before) and one short message after your visit asking for your feedback (you are free to answer or not).
• To prepare service: the team receives the list of bookings for the day and the week.

News from the restaurant (optional)

If you tick the box, we keep your email and name to send you news (seasonal menus, events). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our messages or by writing to us.

How long we keep it

Booking data is deleted automatically 30 days after the booking date. Answers to the short questionnaire are kept without your name. Emails received by the restaurant are deleted regularly. The news list is kept until you unsubscribe.

Hosting and providers

The website and emails are hosted in Switzerland at Infomaniak. An anti-spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) may be used on the form. The Contact page shows a Google Maps map, which may send technical data to Google when you view it. No advertising or tracking cookies are used; your browser only remembers that you closed the “New” message.

Security

Encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to data, and personal, unguessable cancellation links.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your data (Swiss data protection law and GDPR) by writing to info@laterrasse-gryon.ch.
